Devastating Images Emerge from Kremenchuk Shopping Mall Struck by Russian Missile

The devastating images of the destruction at a shopping center in the central Ukrainian city of Kremenchuk after it was struck by a Russian missile strike on Monday have emerged. The images were made public by Ukraine’s emergency services, Newsweek reports.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky called the Russian missile assault one of the “most blatant terrorist acts in Europe’s history.”

It is estimated that at least 1,000 individuals were present within the complex when it was struck by the rockets.

Currently, there had been close to 20 fatalities confirmed, and as rescuers combed through the rubble, the toll is likely to rise.

The three-day G7 summit in Germany drew condemnation for the rocket attack on the mall.

Their major priority is providing Ukraine with military assistance.

Both the Russian Defense Ministry and the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense were approached by Zenger News for additional comment, but neither has returned a message as of the time of writing.

When speaking to the G7 leaders, Zelensky expressed his desire for the war to be over before the end of this year.

He reiterated his call for more penalties against Russia as well as anti-aircraft defense equipment.

He reiterated his appeal for assistance in the export of grain from Ukraine.

On February 24, the Russian Federation has launched an invasion on Ukraine. The Kremlin refers to the invasion as a “special military operation” for denazification of the country. Wednesday is the 126th day of the invasion.
